What We're Reading: Peek-a-Boo What?

Begin Smart Peek-a-Boo What?Nate loves his books. We'll often read at least five books in a row several times a day. Which is great. Except Dave and I are REALLY sick of the books we have. It seems like we are reading the same few books over and over and over because -  babies love repetition, Nate only likes certain books and we're sticking to board books because Nate wants nothing more than to rip the real paper books to shreds. So in an effort to spice up our collection without wasting money on books Nate isn't interested in, I checked some board books out of the library.

I got four books and the hands-down favorite was Peek-a-Boo What? It's only six pages long, but each right-hand side page is a flap that opens creating a three page spread. And the best part? That page also has big circle cut outs. Nate loves books with cut outs. They're great to stick your fingers in, and of course hold up to your face and peek your eyes through. Hilarious. Well, hilarious to an almost eleven month old. So clearly we have to purchase this book.

Hey gal! This is Laura. We have (or I should say had) this book for Graham. Santa brought it for his 1st Christmas. It was well read and loved - and played with, thus it is now in a few pieces, but we can still get the effect from what is left. Both Graham and Ryan enjoyed it. Check out another book in this series, "How Many Trucks - Beeep, Beep, Beep" They love that one too - and the little horn is not too loud either ;)
