time in the bouncy chair with toys
time in the crib with his best friend
time alone in the pack and play watching the mobile
time in the swing
and tummy time on various blankets
Nate also spent a lot of time sitting on my lap while I read to him, sang to him or played games like "This Little Piggy" and "Itsy Bitsy Spider." He gazed up at the toys on his play mat and we took walks with him snuggled in the baby carrier or in the stroller. Nothing very imaginative (except for those times where we collaborated on haiku). More than anything I was probably still just trying to figure him out and adapt to life as a mother.
How about you? What did you do with your three month old? Any creative ideas?
