BABY SIGN LANGUAGE

Our Baby Sign Language Story
We began using baby sign language (mostly American Sign Language or ASL) with Nate when he was four months old. There are loads of benefits to using sign language with your hearing baby, including higher IQs and advanced cognitive abilities. It's also a great bonding tool. We wanted to have a deeper level of communication with our son before he was able to speak and improve his vocabulary at a younger age. You don't have to begin as early as we did. You can reap the benefits of using sign language even if you start after twelve months of age. I can't recommend it enough! Click here to read my post about how to start signing.
